Happy Habitat is a pet-care companion for iPhone and iPad. This policy explains what data is used when you use the app.

Who we are

Happy Habitat is published by an independent developer. For privacy questions, contact happyhabitatapp@gmail.com.

Data we use

• Caregiver name — shown on care logs you create
• Pet & care content — pet profiles, photos, notes, feeding/toilet logs, tasks, habitat details
• Purchase status — Membership subscription state via Apple to unlock paid features

How data is stored and synced

Pet care data is stored on your device and can sync through Apple iCloud / CloudKit using your Apple ID so your devices stay up to date. Optional Family & Sitters sharing uses CloudKit share links so invited people can view and update shared care information you choose to share.

We do not operate a separate Happy Habitat login server. Payments are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase / StoreKit. We do not receive your payment card number.

How we use data

Data is used only for app functionality — providing pet-care tracking, sync, sharing, reminders, and Membership access. We do not use your data for third-party advertising or tracking across other companies’ apps and websites.

Third parties

Core services are provided by Apple (iCloud/CloudKit, StoreKit, notifications). We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

• Edit or delete pets and care logs in the app
• Delete your account in the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account (removes Happy Habitat data tied to your Apple ID / iCloud)
• Manage iCloud for Happy Habitat in iOS Settings
• Manage or cancel Membership in Apple ID → Subscriptions
• Contact us to ask questions about your data

Children

Happy Habitat is a general pet-care tool and is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit children’s personal information intentionally.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
